Service Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Scope of Policy

This Service Cancellation and Refund Policy applies exclusively to paid digital marketing services provided by Itsfreelancer.com, including but not limited to:

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services
  • Social Media Management & Marketing campaigns
  • Website optimization and content management
  • Google Search Console, Analytics, or other account management services

Free tools, guest post marketplace, backlink listings, and other complimentary services are not covered under this policy.

This policy is designed to ensure transparency and fairness for both clients and the Itsfreelancer.com team regarding cancellation and refunds.


2. Mandatory Client Requirements

Before starting any paid service, every client must:

  1. Accept this policy as part of the service agreement.
  2. Provide full access to all relevant accounts and platforms, including:
    • Website admin panel
    • Social media accounts
    • Google Search Console and Analytics
    • Any other platform required for service delivery

Failure to provide the required access may result in delayed service delivery or adjusted refunds. Clients must ensure that access credentials are valid and active for the duration of the service.


3. Billing & Payment Structure

Paid services follow a 15-day billing cycle, ensuring clear tracking and accountability:

  • First 15 days: First payment due prior to service start
  • Next 15 days: Second payment due for continuation of services
  • Invoices are issued after completion of each 15-day period.

Clients are responsible for timely payment. Any delays in payment may result in service suspension, and refund eligibility will be calculated only for unused days after payment confirmation.


4. Service Cancellation by Client

Clients can request cancellation at any time by submitting a written request via:

  • Email
  • WhatsApp message
  • Platform message

Cancellation is effective from the date of receipt of the request. Clients are encouraged to notify Itsfreelancer.com as soon as possible to ensure accurate calculation of unused service days.


5. Refund Calculation

Refunds are processed based on pro-rata for unused service days, according to the following formula:

Refund Amount = Total Service Fee × (Remaining Service Days ÷ Total Days in Billing Cycle)

Example:

  • Project fee = ₹30,000 for 30 days
  • Service canceled on day 10 → 20 days remain
  • Refund = ₹30,000 × (20 ÷ 30) = ₹20,000

5.1 Adjustments Based on Access and Work

  • Refunds may be adjusted if:
    • Client did not provide necessary access for service delivery
    • Work has already been delivered, including scheduled posts, campaigns launched, or reports submitted

5.2 No Refund Cases

  • No refund is provided after completion of a 15-day cycle
  • No refund if work has already been executed or outcomes delivered
  • Non-payment or failure to provide required access does not qualify for refund

6. Refund Process

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days of receipt
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method
  • Any bank or transaction fees may be deducted from the refund amount

7. Disclaimer

  • Refunds are calculated strictly based on unused service days, not service results or campaign outcomes
  • Itsfreelancer.com does not guarantee SEO rankings, traffic increases, or specific marketing results
  • Services are provided on a best-effort basis, and all outcomes may vary based on multiple external factors

8. Policy Updates

  • This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in service structure or billing practices
  • Continued use of paid services after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy
