I'm trying to figure out whether this is a Google Search Console issue or if there's still something wrong with my website.

On June 10, 2026, I cleared my LiteSpeed Cache and submitted my sitemap again after fixing an earlier issue where Google couldn't access my robots.txt file.
However, since that date, Search Console hasn't shown any new sitemap activity.
Here is what I'm seeing:
My sitemap index (
sitemap_index.xml) still displays "Last read: June 10, 2026."Every child sitemap, including the post sitemap, still shows "Couldn't fetch."
The post sitemap currently includes 29 blog posts, but Search Console has never successfully read it.
When I inspect newly published pages or posts, the URL Inspection tool says "No referring sitemaps detected."
It also looks like Google isn't discovering my new content through the sitemap.
Here are the checks I've already completed:
LiteSpeed Cache is configured to exclude:
/sitemap.xml/sitemap_index.xml/*-sitemap.xml/*-sitemap*.xml
All sitemap XML files open normally in a web browser.
My hosting provider (Hostinger) reviewed the server logs and confirmed that Googlebot is not being blocked and receives 200 OK responses when requesting
robots.txt.Search Console's Crawl Stats show around 1,100 crawl requests, an average response time of 260 ms, and roughly 89% of requests return 200 OK, which suggests Googlebot is actively crawling the website.
My main question is:
If Googlebot is regularly crawling the site without any obvious access problems, why does Search Console still show the sitemap as last read on June 10 and continue to report "Couldn't fetch" for the child sitemaps?
Is there another setting or technical issue I should investigate, or could this simply be a delay or processing problem within Google Search Console?
