Hello everyone,
I'm seeing a confusing indexing issue in Google Search Console and would appreciate some clarification.
We published a new article and submitted it through the URL Inspection tool almost immediately. Google crawled the page within a minute.
The problem is that URL Inspection says the page is indexed and available on Google, but the Page Indexing report still shows "Crawled – currently not indexed."
This isn't happening with just one page. We're seeing the same issue across several newly published articles.
My questions are:
Which status should we trust: URL Inspection or the Page Indexing report?
If the Page Indexing report still shows "Crawled – currently not indexed," does Google actually treat the page as not indexed?
Is this simply a reporting delay between Google's systems, and if so, how long does it usually take to update?
Thank you!
